Chore Champion ("we", "our", "us") is a family chore tracking application. We
respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and password for parent accounts
- Child profiles: first names and optional avatar photos
- Room photos: photos uploaded for room inspections
- Usage data: chore completion records and point scores
- Phone numbers: only when a parent enters one to send a family invitation by text
How we use your information
- To provide and maintain the chore tracking service
- To process room inspections using AI analysis
- To send password reset emails when requested
- To send a one-time invitation link when a parent asks us to
Data storage
Your data is stored on secure servers. Photos are stored on our servers and
used only for room inspection purposes.
Third-party services
- Anthropic: room photos are sent to Anthropic's AI for cleanliness analysis
- Resend: used for sending password reset and invitation emails
- Twilio: used to deliver invitation text messages
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
Children's privacy
Child accounts are created and managed by parents. We do not collect personal
information from children beyond what parents provide — a first name and an
optional photo.
Data deletion
Parents can delete child profiles and their associated data at any time
through the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us at the address
below.
