Chore Champion sends one kind of text message: a one-time invitation link so a family member can set up their account. Nothing else, and never marketing.
Chore Champion is a family chore-tracking app. A parent sets up a household, adds their children, assigns rooms and tasks, and approves the work when it is done. Children earn points they can spend on rewards their parent has set up. It is used privately within a single family — there is no public directory, marketplace, or advertising.
Exactly one message type: an account invitation. When a parent adds a child or another parent to their household, they may choose to send that person a link to set up their own login.
We do not send marketing, promotions, newsletters, or automated recurring messages of any kind.
Messages are only ever sent when a parent or account owner explicitly asks us to send one, to a phone number they enter themselves, for a member of their own household.
The flow is:
There is no bulk upload, no purchased list, and no way to send a message to a number that a household member has not typed in themselves. The account owner is responsible for having permission to contact the people in their own family.
One message per invitation. A typical family sends two to four invitations in total, once, when they first set the app up. There is no recurring or scheduled messaging.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
Because we only send invitations on request, opting out simply means no invitation will reach you — it does not affect anyone else in your family.
Phone numbers are stored only to send the invitation and to identify the family member within their own household. They are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing. Our full Privacy Policy explains what we store and why.
